What's that? That is a on-off switch. If you notice, the switch is turned up, which signifies it's turned on. However, if someone purposely does something, then the switch will be pulled down, turning the switch off.
Now, why is this significant? It's just a goddamn switch! Well, sometimes when you feel that you're talking just between two people and you want simply to stick to that. But here comes along a slightly longer banana and you simply have to peel the skin off and throwing the skin away is hard, since the flesh will always be lingering there. So you have to take the long process to turn the banana into something that you like, like a nice car!
Woah.
And yeah, I hate being turned off. D:
